The pepper harvest is very late this year. Normally it would have started by mid February and some years two or three weeks earlier. Just a few red berries are appearing now. This is the result of very late rains last year which caused the first blooms to wither and die. The second blooms came a month late and were then subject to some strong winds which have caused a fair bit of damage. We are not expecting a big yield in 2021!
Meanwhile, here are some pictures of other activities on the farm. The organic vegetables are gorgeous. The durian and coconuts we have to wait a few more years for!
